AMS Tuning Services
AMS has two certified tuning specialists on staff that provide safe, reliable and repeatable results on over 30 different tuning systems. Peak horsepower figures are what most tuning shops focus on. At AMS we focus on making the most of your cars entire power band and tune for everything from driveability, cold start, idle quality, and even fuel economy to make any car enjoyable and safe to drive. These areas of tuning are many times overlooked and are actually the most time consuming and difficult to perfect. Our tuners are in such high demand they fly all over the world to tune everything from street cars to race cars.
Because of the amount of knowledge we have between our 30+ person staff, we have a leg up on any other performance shop. The extensive research, development and testing over the past 9 years has given us an immense amount of data and results which we use to solve almost any problem quickly and efficiently. In short, we know what works, how it works, and how to use it to our advantage. Our attention to detail and our drive to succeed gives the customer the best final product possible.
When tuning a vehicle we will find any mechanical issues or drivability problems and fix them before the customer ever has a chance to notice them not just “tune around” the problem. The end result is a car that makes great power, has excellent drivability, runs the way it should and does so for a long time.

AMS Product Engineering
At AMS we take pride in manufacturing quality products, but few are aware of the extensive design and development processes that take place in order to bring such products to market.
Our 3 man Engineering team is outfitted with advanced equipment and software that enables them to optimize each product to the pinnacle of performance. On the premises AMS has an 8ft Stinger IIi Portable CMM that allows us to precisely measure vehicles and components with an accuracy of +/-0.0019” (about the width of a human hair). With this the Engineers are able to build extremely accurate models in our CAD software, SolidWorks, ensuring that the fit of each product is perfect.
After the initial design the parts are stress tested in the software using Finite Element Analysis, or FEA. This means that each part is tested for performance and durability before it’s even made.
Once the computer design is finished a physical model is made using our rapid prototype machine. This will make a plastic 3D model used for fitment and can be made in a single day, saving weeks over having a traditional prototype made. Using this model we can figure out what changes need to be made to make the parts as optimal as possible.
After the parts are designed a functional, physical prototype is built and put through rigorous real world testing, both on our daily drivers and with the AMS Road Racing and Drag Racing programs. This ensures that any part that we bring to production is guaranteed to withstand whatever is thrown at it.

AMS Product Manufacturing & Fabrication
Here at AMS we produce a wide range of products that utilize many different manufacturing processes. Most of our products are manufactured in house. AMS is able to produce products utilizing processes such as Casting, Metal Forming, Molding, and CNC Machining, along with metal cutting, and finishing. AMS also has the ability to do full custom fabrication as well as 3D printing.
Our in-house Fabrication department is made up of 8 industry professionals. This team is responsible for everything from production parts to custom turbo kits to all out race car chassis. Equipped with all of the right machinery to build the wildest projects these guys are the foundation on which AMS was built. Their motto says it all: Quality, Integrity, Results.
AMS Service
AMS makes the highest quality and best performing parts on the market but they need to be installed correctly to get the best results. We have a staff of 5 ASE certified technicians with over 70 years in combined experience that will get the job done right the first time. The same technicians who build and service our record setting race cars are the same professionals who build hundreds of our customer’s cars each year. Our staff has the experience, skill, know-how and to solve the most complex problems quickly and efficiently. In addition our clean and spacious shop is equipped with the most up to date factory service and diagnostic equipment.
At AMS we focus on more than increasing horsepower. We also offer street and race alignments, corner weighting, brake upgrades and safety improvements based on experience from our many successful years in motorsports.
The AMS Service department is made up of more than just the Technicians. Our Fabrication staff assists in making custom parts for some of our more extreme projects and our large in-house parts department insures we have the parts to get the job done with minimum down time.
